Using the calculators
Project Amounts provides free quantity and price arithmetic for general project planning. Results depend on your inputs and the stated assumptions. Example dimensions, depths, waste and fixing counts are editable illustrations, not specifications for your project.
Verify before purchasing or building
Check measurements, product dimensions, packaging, material suitability, supplier quotes and the actual layout before ordering. Calculators do not provide structural design, drainage design, code compliance, professional advice or site inspection. Seek appropriate local advice where required.
Costs and exclusions
Prices are entered by you, not sourced from a current market feed. A currency choice labels your prices without converting exchange rates. Totals include only the price categories entered. Labour, tax, delivery, preparation, disposal, equipment and unlisted materials may be excluded.
Availability and corrections
We aim to make the tools useful and clear, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or that every project is covered. We may correct calculations or revise content. Report an issue through the Contact page with the inputs and expected result.
Site content and external links
You may use results and shopping lists for your own project planning. Do not misrepresent the site’s content or disrupt its operation. External references are supplied for convenience; we do not control those websites.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you remain responsible for purchasing and building decisions made using an estimate. These terms do not remove rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
